The Bharatiya Gorkha Prajatantrik Morcha is a political party within the meaning and provisions of The Representation of People’s Amendment Act, 1988 and any other subsequent (amendment) act thereafter.

We stand by

Bharatiya Gorkha Prajatantrik Morcha shall bear true faith and allegiance to the sacred constitution of India as by law established and to the principle of socialism, secularism and democracy and shall uphold the sovereignty, unity and integrity of the Indian Union.

The Bharatiya Gorkha Prajatantrik Morcha shall always fight for the democratic and constitutional rights; and also establish the national identity of the Indian Gorkhas living all over India.

MISSION

Bharatiya Gorkha Prajatantrik Morcha envisages to establish the well-being and all-round advancement of Gorkhas settled all over India by peaceful and constitutional means.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The Bharatiya Gorkha Prajatantrik Morcha shall always fight to uphold social, economic and political rights and privileges of the Gorkha people settled all over India as provided under the Indian constitution.The Bharatiya Gorkha Prajatantrik Morcha shall always strive hard for the upliftment of socially and economically backward sections of the Gorkha community settled all over India.

It shall work ceaselessly to promote peace, progress and the communal harmony amongst the Indian Gorkha community and all other sections of the community living together; and shall promote tolerance, harmony and brotherhood with all other communities of the country.
The party shall always fight for obtaining equal opportunities to be given to the Gorkha community in all walks of life; and work for the upliftment and emancipation of the Gorkhas and other sections of the oppressed people.

The party shall always be ready to fight against all forces that threaten to disrupt the unity and integrity of the Indian Union.

It shall always uphold the principle of human dignity and shall pledge to fight against all kinds of injustice, inequality and discrimination on the grounds of caste, creed, colour, religion and/or gender.

The party shall specially work for the interests and welfare of the backward classes, woman and depressed communities; and shall fight for the constitutional rights of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes; and security and prosperity of the entire Gorkha community living all over India.

The party shall ceaselessly work to uplift the Gorkha community against poverty, illiteracy and social backwardness of the Gorkha people living all over India.The party shall work tirelessly to uphold the age-old traditions, customs and cultural heritage of the Gorkhas living all over India.
It shall fight to include all the eleven left out Gorkha communities in the tribal list under the Constitutional Tribal Order, 1950 with the appropriate Government.

It shall also take up the matter of settlement of lands in the Hill areas in the Districts of Darjeeling and Kalimpong and Tarai and Dooars, in the Khas possession of the people of locality for generation after generation with the appropriate Government.

The Bharatiya Gorkha Prajatantrik Morcha shall make every possible effort to attain all-round development in Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Tarai and Dooars areas.
